Panch Gaurav Programme : Introduction, Objective, List of Districtwise Identified Panch Gaurav

Introduction

• Launch : 2025-26 (by the Government of Rajasthan)
• Objective : Vision of providing a unique identity to each district of the State, by selecting products/sites based on the potential and specific characteristics of each district and providing a strong cultural and economic identity to the districts through their preservation, promotion and development.
• Budget : In the year 2025-26, an amount of ₹ 100 crore has been allocated for the implementation of the “Panch Gaurav” program.
• Implementation : A State-Level Panch Gaurav Committee chaired by the Chief Secretary and District-Level Panch Gaurav Committees chaired by the District Collectors have been constituted to ensure the effective implementation of the Panch Gaurav program.

Panch Gaurav :-

The program has identified five key elements for each district under the “Panch Gaurav” initiative :

1. One District – One Product
2. One District – One Crop
3. One District – One Botanical Species
4. One District – One Sport
5. One District – One Tourist Destination
